As of 24:00 on November 8, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 8,313 confirmed cases (including 27 severe cases), 25,280 cumulative cured and discharged cases, 5,226 cumulative fatal cases, 266,359 cumulative reported confirmed cases, and no existing suspected cases. A total of 84,98438 close contacts have been traced, and 708,230 close contacts are still under medical observation.
