Update on the new coronavirus pneumonia outbreak in Henan Province as of 24:00 on December 19, 2022

From 0 to 24 hours on December 19, there were 45 new local confirmed cases in the province (45 cases in Zhengzhou City). There were no new confirmed cases imported from abroad. 21 local confirmed cases were cured and discharged (18 cases in Zhengzhou, 2 cases in Xuchang and 1 case in Anyang).
As of 24:00 on December 19, 2022, there were 2464 hospitalized cases in the province (2464 local cases).
Henan Provincial Health and Wellness Commission reminds :
- do daily prevention
Wash your hands regularly, ventilate often, wear a mask, disinfect more often, do not gather, get vaccinated, and keep social distance.

To maintain a balanced nutrition, reasonable exercise, regular work and rest, and maintain a good state of mind.
- Strengthen health monitoring
Do not panic if you have symptoms. The course of the disease is about 7 days for ordinary patients infected with the new crown, and the fever is mostly 2-3 days. Do home isolation, pay attention to rest, nutrition, symptomatic medication, do not blindly use drugs, excessive medication, if necessary, through the Internet hospital for consultation; asymptomatic people do not need drug treatment. If there is difficulty in breathing or shortness of breath or if the body temperature continues to be higher than 38.5°C for more than three days after medication; or if the original underlying disease is significantly aggravated and cannot be controlled, seek medical treatment promptly.
