Update on the novel coronavirus pneumonia outbreak in Sichuan Province

The latest situation of the new coronavirus pneumonia epidemic in the province from 0-24 hours on September 22 is as follows.

43 new local confirmed cases: 11 cases in closed-loop transporters returning to Sichuan from other provinces, 3 cases in Chengdu, 16 cases in Suining, and 13 cases from previously asymptomatic infected persons turned into confirmed cases (1 case in closed-loop transporters returning to Sichuan from other provinces, 1 case in Chengdu, 9 cases in Neijiang, 1 case in Yibin, 1 case in Aba).

There were 30 new cases of local asymptomatic infections: 14 cases of people returning to Sichuan from other provinces in closed-loop transit, 1 case in Chengdu, 12 cases in Suining and 3 cases in Neijiang.

One new confirmed case was imported from abroad (in Chengdu).

6 new cases of overseas imported asymptomatic infections (in Chengdu).

130 new cases were cured and discharged from hospital, no new suspected cases and no new deaths.
