WHO: Increase in new coronary infections in China will not have “significant impact” on Europe
In a 10-day update, the World Health Organization said that the increase in the number of new coronavirus infections in China would not have a “significant impact” on Europe.
Hans Kruger, director of the WHO Regional Office for Europe, made the statement at a press conference, and Kruger also called for preventive travel restrictions that “should be science-based, proportionate and non-discriminatory,” according to AFP.
