Zhejiang has 20 new confirmed indigenous cases and 4 indigenous asymptomatic infections on October 16

Zhejiang Health Care Commission informed that from 0-24 hours on October 16, 11 cities reported 21 new indigenous positive cases, of which 20 cases were detected in centralized isolation sites and 1 case was detected in home isolation, all of which have implemented control measures.
Eleven cities reported 20 new confirmed cases. Among them, there were no imported cases; 20 local cases (1 case in Hangzhou, 16 cases in Ningbo, 3 cases in Taizhou), of which 3 cases were previously asymptomatic infected persons turned confirmed (1 case in Hangzhou, 2 cases in Taizhou), and 17 new confirmed cases were detected on the same day.
One new case was discharged from hospital on the same day, and there were 79 confirmed cases.
Eleven cities reported 19 new cases of asymptomatic infection. Among them, 15 cases were imported from abroad (4 cases from Spain, 4 cases from Hong Kong, 3 cases from Malaysia, 3 cases from Vietnam, 1 case from Italy); 4 cases were imported locally (3 cases from Ningbo, 1 case from Taizhou).
There were 31 cases of asymptomatic infected persons who were released from medical observation on that day, and 193 cases of asymptomatic infected persons who were still under medical observation.
As of 24:00 on October 16, the province reported a total of 3508 confirmed cases. Among them, 693 cases were imported from abroad and 2815 cases were local cases.
