As of 24:00 on December 1, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 38748 confirmed cases (including 98 severe cases), 283,983 cumulative cured and discharged cases, 5,233 cumulative fatal cases, 327,964 cumulative reported confirmed cases, and no existing suspected cases. A total of 13,273,513 close contacts have been traced, and 2,076,029 close contacts are still under medical observation.

The total number of confirmed cases received from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan was 1,094 (5 cases imported from abroad); 396,094 asymptomatic infected persons were still under medical observation (1,761 cases imported from abroad).

A total of 8790364 cases of confirmed cases were received from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Among them, 460548 cases in Hong Kong SAR (99432 discharges, 10762 deaths), 808 cases in Macau SAR (791 discharges, 6 deaths), and 8329008 cases in Taiwan (13742 discharges, 14387 deaths).
