From 0 to 24 hours on December 1, there were 958 new local confirmed cases in the province (654 in Guangzhou, 81 in Shenzhen, 2 in Zhuhai, 19 in Shantou, 42 in Foshan, 8 in Shaoguan, 15 in Heyuan, 21 in Huizhou, 13 in Zhongshan, 5 in Jiangmen, 5 in Yangjiang, 30 in Zhanjiang, 23 in Maoming, 22 in Zhaoqing, 7 in Qingyuan, 4 in Chaozhou, 7 in Yunfu); new local asymptomatic 6010 cases (5185 in Guangzhou, 94 in Shenzhen, 20 in Zhuhai, 11 in Shantou, 275 in Foshan, 3 in Shaoguan, 18 in Heyuan, 15 in Meizhou, 28 in Huizhou, 9 in Shanwei, 90 in Dongguan, 84 in Zhongshan, 14 in Jiangmen, 2 in Yangjiang, 26 in Zhanjiang, 6 in Maoming, 12 in Zhaoqing, 38 in Qingyuan, 13 in Chaozhou, 66 in Jieyang, 1 in Yunfu); and (1 case); another 824 cases of local asymptomatic infections were confirmed (814 cases in Guangzhou, 1 case in Zhuhai, 1 case in Shantou, 1 case in Meizhou, 1 case in Zhanjiang, 2 cases in Maoming, 1 case in Zhaoqing, and 3 cases in Yunfu). The province has 13 new confirmed cases of overseas importation (Guangzhou 7 cases, Shenzhen 6 cases); 26 new cases of overseas importation of asymptomatic infections (Guangzhou 14 cases, Shenzhen 5 cases, Foshan 7 cases); and 3 cases of overseas importation of asymptomatic infections to confirm the diagnosis (Guangzhou 3 cases).

The province has discharged 1356 new cases (30 cases imported from abroad) and is currently in hospital with 12894 cases (223 cases imported from abroad); 5644 new cases of asymptomatic infections have been released from medical observation (19 cases imported from abroad) and 97,774 cases of asymptomatic infections are still under medical observation (213 cases imported from abroad).

As of 24:00 on December 1, the province reported a total of 197860 cases of new positive pneumonia infections (15241 cases imported from abroad), including 39052 confirmed cases (6394 cases imported from abroad) and 158808 asymptomatic infections (8847 cases imported from abroad).
