4 new indigenous confirmed cases and 93 indigenous asymptomatic infections in Shandong Province from 0:00 to 24:00 on November 1, 2022

From 0:00 to 24:00 on November 1, 2022, the province reported 4 new local confirmed cases, including 2 cases in Qingdao and 2 cases in Zaozhuang, all of which were detected in centralized isolation sites. There were 93 new local asymptomatic infections, including 21 cases in Zaozhuang, 19 cases detected in centralized isolation sites and 2 cases detected in high-risk areas; 17 cases in Zibo, 16 cases detected in centralized isolation sites, 1 case for people returning to Lu from outside the province, detected by screening of key personnel; 16 cases in Dezhou, 13 cases detected in centralized isolation sites, 2 cases for people entering Lu from outside the province, detected by screening of key personnel, 1 case for people returning to Lu from outside the province, detected by screening of key personnel; and 16 cases in Jining, 13 cases detected in centralized isolation sites, 2 cases for people entering Lu from outside the province, detected by screening of key personnel. Jining 12 cases, all detected at centralized isolation points; Linyi 11 cases, all detected at centralized isolation points; Dongying 4 cases, all detected at centralized isolation points; Liaocheng 4 cases, all detected at centralized isolation points (including 2 cases of people returning to Lu from outside the province); Binzhou 4 cases, 2 cases detected by cross-regional coordination, 1 case detected at centralized isolation points and 1 case detected at home under medical observation; Qingdao 2 cases, all detected at centralized isolation points; Yantai 2 cases were detected in Qingdao, both in centralized isolation sites; 2 cases in Yantai, both in centralized isolation sites. There was one new confirmed case imported from abroad, in Qingdao, which was imported from Korea. Five new cases of asymptomatic infections were imported from abroad, all in Qingdao, two from South Korea, one from Japan, one from the United Arab Emirates and one from Hong Kong.

From 0:00 to 24:00 on November 1, 2022, the province reported asymptomatic infections that turned into confirmed cases.

Between 0:00 and 24:00 on November 1, 2022, one native confirmed case was discharged from the province, in Zaozhuang. Twenty cases of local asymptomatic infected persons were released from medical observation, including five cases in Zaozhuang, five cases in Tai’an, four cases in Linyi, three cases in Liaocheng, one case in Dongying, one case in Jining, and one case in Heze. No overseas imported confirmed cases were discharged in the province. One case of overseas imported asymptomatic infected person was released from medical observation in Qingdao.

As of 24:00 on November 1, 2022, there were 28 local confirmed cases and 812 local asymptomatic infections in the province. The province has 5 confirmed cases of overseas imported cases and 27 cases of overseas imported asymptomatic infected persons.
