5,068 new positive cases of new coronavirus in Hong Kong

The Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health of the HKSAR Government announced on the 9th that as of 00:00 on that day, there were 5068 new positive cases of new coronavirus in Hong Kong.
Among the new cases, 4570 are local cases, including 1311 positive nucleic acid test cases and 3259 positive rapid test cases. There were also 498 imported cases.
On the same day, the Hospital Authority of Hong Kong announced that 13 new patients were reported to have passed away in public hospitals in the past day. (End)
