Taiwan added 24,857 new cases of confirmed cases of new crown pneumonia and 66 new deaths

The Taiwan Regional Epidemic Command Center announced on the 9th that 24,857 new confirmed cases of Newcastle pneumonia have been diagnosed, including 24,798 local cases and 59 imported cases from abroad, with 66 new deaths among the confirmed cases.
The new local cases ranged in age from under 5 years old to over 90 years old. The new deaths were 36 males and 30 females, ranging in age from 40s to over 90 years old, 38 of which were not vaccinated with more than 3 doses of the new crown vaccine. There were 181 new cases of moderate to severe illness on the same day.
Statistics show that, up to now, a total of 7953885 cases of New Coronary Pneumonia have been diagnosed in Taiwan, including 7917055 cases of local cases.
