From 00:00 to 24:00 on November 23, there were 509 new confirmed cases and 1,139 asymptomatic infections in Beijing (including 37 cases of asymptomatic infections to confirmed cases, of which 913 cases have been notified), 1,283 cases of isolation and observation, 328 cases of social screening, and no new suspected cases; there were 8 new confirmed cases and 10 asymptomatic infections imported from abroad, and no new suspected cases. There were 188 cases discharged from hospital and 257 cases of asymptomatic infected persons released from medical observation.

Confirmed case 1: Chinese national, arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from Hong Kong, China on November 15, sent to centralized isolation hotel via closed-loop management, diagnosed as confirmed case on November 23.
Confirmed cases 2 to 5: Chinese nationals who arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from Germany on November 20, were sent to the centralized isolation hotel under closed-loop management, and were diagnosed as confirmed cases on November 23.
Confirmed cases 6, 7 and 8: Chinese nationals who arrived at Beijing Capital Airport from Hong Kong, China on November 19, were sent to the centralized isolation hotel under closed-loop management, and were diagnosed as confirmed cases on November 23.
All the above cases have been transferred to designated hospitals, epidemiological investigations have been carried out and control measures have been implemented as required.
Citizens should raise their awareness of protection, reduce unnecessary outings, advocate not leaving Beijing unless necessary, and comply with all epidemic prevention regulations. Home quarantine and its co-residents should obey the unified management of the community (village), strictly stay at home, do not go out, do not visit, and cooperate with various preventive and control measures such as nucleic acid testing, antigen self-testing and health monitoring.
