Shanghai yesterday added 9 new confirmed cases of local new crown pneumonia 58 new cases of local asymptomatic infections

The Shanghai Municipal Health Commission informed this morning (November 24) that from 0-24 hours on November 23, 2022, there were 9 new local confirmed cases of New Coronary Pneumonia and 58 asymptomatic infections, of which 8 confirmed cases and 57 asymptomatic infections were found in the isolation control. Four new confirmed cases of imported Newcastle pneumonia from abroad and 28 asymptomatic infections were added.

From 00-24 hours on November 23, 2022, 9 new local confirmed cases of New Coronary Pneumonia were added.

Case 1, residing in Minhang District, was found to be abnormal in the standing nucleic acid test, which was reviewed by the city and district CDC, and the nucleic acid test result was positive. Case 2 was a Chinese national who worked in France and arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on November 21, 2022, after a transfer from France via Finland. The epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory tests and imaging findings were combined to diagnose a confirmed case.

Case 3, a Chinese national living in the United States, departed from the United States and arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on November 21, 2022, and was placed under intensive isolation for observation upon entry, during which she developed symptoms. A comprehensive epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory tests and imaging findings were used to diagnose a confirmed case.

Case 4 was a Chinese national who worked in the Netherlands and arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on November 22, 2022, from the Netherlands, and was placed under intensive isolation for observation upon entry, during which he developed symptoms. From 0-24 hours on November 23, 2022, 44 cases of asymptomatic infected persons were released from medical observation, including 10 cases of local asymptomatic infected persons and 34 cases of overseas imported asymptomatic infected persons.

From 00:00 on July 3, 2022 to 24:00 on November 23, 2022, a total of 264 cases were confirmed locally, 234 cases were cured and discharged, 54 cases were treated in hospital, and 0 cases died; there were 1678 cases of asymptomatic infections. There are 0 suspected cases to be investigated.
