The reporter learned from the Guangxi Health Care Commission that the current stock of drugs and equipment in primary medical institutions in Guangxi has improved. The total number of fever patient visits in Guangxi peaked on December 22, and then began to decline gradually. As of January 10, the number of fever outpatient visits in the region has dropped to 10,454, with the number of visits in all cities showing a simultaneous downward trend.

It is reported that the commands at all levels in Guangxi have set up special classes to ensure the supply of drugs, carry out daily dispatching, keep abreast of the drug stocks and demands of grassroots medical institutions, and do their best to ensure the supply of drugs at the grassroots level, which has initially eased the shortage of drugs at the grassroots level. In terms of equipment configuration, community health service centers and township health centers have been successively configured 13,000 finger clip oximeters, more than 1,000 oxygen machines and other equipment, and recently more than 29,000 oximeters were configured for the village health offices in the region, all of which are used for the grassroots medical treatment in villages and towns.
