From 0:00 to 24:00 on September 25, 2022, there were 2 new local confirmed cases in the city, both of which were found during the screening of close contacts that had been included in the centralized isolation control. There were 10 new confirmed cases imported from abroad and 11 cases of asymptomatic infections imported from abroad.

As of 24:00 on September 25, 2022, the city reported a total of 7,119 cases of positive new coronary pneumonia infections. Among them, there were 3550 confirmed cases (2491 imported from abroad and 1059 local cases), 92 cases were still under hospital treatment; 3569 asymptomatic infections (3301 imported from abroad and 268 local cases), 57 cases were still under medical observation.

Local confirmed case 2: male, 21 years old.

The above local confirmed cases are the close contacts of the local confirmed cases from outside the province that have been announced in our city on September 23, and were found in the centralized isolation control investigation. They have been transferred to Guangzhou Medical University Hospital No. 8 for isolation treatment and are currently in stable condition.

10 new cases of confirmed cases imported from abroad and 11 cases of asymptomatic infected persons imported from abroad

There are 10 new confirmed cases imported from abroad, 1 case each from the Netherlands and Vietnam, 8 cases from the Philippines, and 11 cases of asymptomatic infections imported from abroad, 1 case each from Kuwait, Korea, Sri Lanka and Algeria, 2 cases from the Philippines and France, and 3 cases from Cambodia.

The above confirmed cases and asymptomatic infected persons were transferred to the centralized isolation site according to the whole closed-loop management procedure after their entry. During the isolation period, they were tested positive for nucleic acid of the new coronavirus, and were transferred to the City Hospital No. 8 of Guangzhou Medical University for isolation treatment.

From 0 to 24 September 25, there were 7 new local confirmed cases in the province (2 cases in Guangzhou and 5 cases in Shenzhen); 5 new local asymptomatic infections (5 cases in Shenzhen). There were 17 new confirmed cases of imported foreign cases in the province (10 cases in Guangzhou, 7 cases in Shenzhen); 19 new cases of imported foreign asymptomatic infections (11 cases in Guangzhou, 4 cases in Shenzhen, 1 case in Zhuhai, 2 cases in Foshan, 1 case in Huizhou); and 2 cases of imported foreign asymptomatic infections to confirmed cases (1 case in Zhuhai, 1 case in Foshan).

There are 30 new cases discharged from the province (19 cases imported from abroad), 214 cases are currently in the hospital (129 cases imported from abroad); 31 new cases of asymptomatic infections are released from medical observation (24 cases imported from abroad), 169 cases of asymptomatic infections are still under medical observation (139 cases imported from abroad).
