Hands-on training session on nucleic acid sampling of the new coronavirus in Zhongyang County

In order to fully implement the requirements of the city’s organizational system epidemic prevention and control conference, on November 6, the county held a hands-on training session on nucleic acid sampling of the new coronavirus, with 410 participants from private medical institutions and towns, units, villages, medical and health school graduates and all staff of the Prevention and Control Office.

The training was divided into two parts: theoretical lectures and demonstration exercises, with emphasis on practical exercises. Training content includes the new coronavirus pharyngeal swab nucleic acid specimen collection, antigen detection guidance and hands-on, new coronavirus nucleic acid sampling norms interpretation, etc., to ensure that participants understand in place, standardized operation in place, so that everyone will sample, everyone is standardized.

Previously, the County Organization Department actively planned and carefully prepared, issued initiatives and formed a talent pool to further strengthen the county’s nucleic acid sampling personnel reserves, which played an active role in enhancing sample collection capabilities and service levels, doing a good job in the county’s regular epidemic prevention and control, and strengthening the ability to respond to emergencies.

After the training, the participants expressed that they had benefited from the training, both in terms of having a deeper grasp of nucleic acid sampling knowledge and a further understanding of good protection for themselves. Next, the county will continue to enhance the business ability of nucleic acid detection sampling reserve personnel, to carry out practical exercises, to build a comprehensive prevention and control of the epidemic line of defense, to protect people’s lives and health safety!
