Hong Kong announced the first phase of customs clearance arrangements with the Mainland
According to @Greater Bay Area Voice microblogging, on January 5, HKSAR Chief Executive Li Ka-chiu held a press conference to announce the first phase of “customs clearance” arrangements between Hong Kong and the Mainland.

Li said that the first phase of “customs clearance” will be implemented from January 8, up to 60,000 Hong Kong people will enter the Mainland through different land, sea and air crossings every day, of which about 50,000 people can go to the Mainland through land crossings. Hong Kong and Macao terminals, airports, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, there is no limit on the number of people.
Li Jiachao said that the first phase will be opened to seven ports of entry and exit, including Shenzhen Bay, Man Kam To and Lok Ma Chau crossing three ports are now in operation.

The State Council Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism Integrated Group issued a notice on optimizing measures for the movement of people between the Mainland, Hong Kong and Macau, effective January 8, 2023.
People entering from Hong Kong with a negative nucleic acid test result for new coronavirus infection 48 hours before the trip will fill in the test result into the customs health declaration card. For persons entering from Macau, if they have no history of residence in a foreign country or other foreign region within 7 days, they do not need to enter the country with a negative pre-trip nucleic acid test result for New Coronavirus infection. No longer implement full nucleic acid testing for people entering from Hong Kong. Those with normal health declarations and no abnormalities in routine quarantine at customs ports can be released into the community.
Health declaration abnormal or appear fever and other symptoms of the personnel, by the Customs antigen test. If the result is positive, asymptomatic infected persons or light cases without serious underlying diseases can take home, residence isolation or self-care, other cases advocated as soon as possible to medical institutions for consultation and treatment. Those with negative results will be routinely quarantined by Customs in accordance with the laws and regulations of the People’s Republic of China, including the Law of the People’s Republic of China on Health and Quarantine.
Resume transit/transit services to the Mainland at Hong Kong and Macau international airports.
Remove restrictions on the passenger capacity of flights from Hong Kong and Macau to and from the Mainland, and gradually increase the number of flights in an orderly manner.
Quarantine measures for people entering from Macau remain unchanged.
Resume the processing of travel and business endorsements for mainland residents to Hong Kong.
