On December 25, Huizhou State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission issued a notice on the initiative to carry out “state-owned enterprises to benefit the people and share drugs” activities. It is proposed that state-owned enterprises that are in a position to do so are encouraged to make full use of their own resources to carry out public welfare activities related to the mutual sharing of medicines, either spontaneously or jointly with other functional departments and social organizations.
The notice also specifies that state-owned enterprises should call on party members and cadres to take the lead in drug sharing activities and share surplus drugs, thermometers, antigen reagents and other epidemic prevention materials to colleagues, friends, neighbors and other citizens in need in a non-contact manner, provided that their own drug needs are met.
