Sea patrol ship escorts nucleic acid sample box to transit point
In order to timely detect and interrupt the chain of epidemic transmission and prevent the risk of epidemic import, on November 1, Jiangmen Maritime Bureau “Sea Patrol Ship 09427” raced with the typhoon and time to urgently transfer the nucleic acid samples from Chuan Island in Taishan.
On the afternoon of the 1st, Jiangmen Taishan Marine Department received a request for help from the Chuandao town government, affected by typhoon “Nig”, Chuandao route high-speed passenger ships, car ferries are suspended, the nucleic acid samples on the island can not be sent in the specified time, the situation is urgent.
In order to ensure the completion of the nucleic acid screening target in the specified time and escort each nucleic acid sample to the destination safely, Jiangmen Taishan Marine Department decided to dispatch “Sea Patrol 09427” to pick up the nucleic acid samples from Dewan Pier in Haichuan after on-site assessment and coordination. After receiving the instruction, the “Sea Patrol 09427”, which was on duty in the waters of the expansive island for anti-typhoon patrol, was the first time to rush to Dewan against the wind and waves.
After receiving the sealed nucleic acid sample boxes from the medical staff, the law enforcement officers strictly followed the point-to-point operation procedures and did a good job in the whole process of nucleic acid sample transfer by disinfecting the transport vessel and protecting the personnel themselves to ensure that the nucleic acid sample transfer was safe, standardized, rapid and efficient, and achieved “zero error” in sample transfer. At 20:06 on the same day, the nucleic acid samples from the sampling site of Ha Chuan Sanatorium, totaling more than 6,000 people, were escorted to the transit point and then sent to the testing center in an emergency, and the maritime department successfully completed the task of transfer.
