Macau: “Real Name Bus Registration Scheme” will be terminated on February 10

On January 16, the Macau Transport Services Bureau, after coordinating with relevant departments and the Macau Pass Company, and due to the need to modify, test and gradually update the electronic fare collection equipment, is scheduled to terminate the “Real Name Bus Registration Scheme” from February 10 (Friday), when all Macau Pass cards will be restored to enjoy the bus ride. In consideration of the need of the holders of Macau Pass to report the loss of their cards, the personal data of the “Real Name Bus Registration Program” will be destroyed on May 10, three months after the termination of the program.
