At present, the epidemic prevention and control has shifted from “prevention of infection” to “health protection and prevention of serious illness” and entered a new stage. As the Chinese New Year approaches, the number of people returning to their hometowns increases and the number of gatherings in rural areas such as exhibitions, promotions and banquets increases, which increases the risk of transmission of Neoplasmosis. For the health of the villagers and to reduce the impact of the epidemic on production and life, the Rural Epidemic Prevention and Control Group of the Provincial New Coronavirus Prevention and Control Work Command has issued the following initiatives.

First, wear a mask. At present, it is the high incidence of respiratory infectious diseases in winter. It is necessary to wear masks in indoor and outdoor crowded places or in medical institutions for medical treatment or when symptoms such as fever appear. Mask cumulative wearing time more than 8 hours or appear dirty, deformation, damage, odor must be replaced.

Second, wash hands diligently. To develop the habit of washing hands regularly, maintaining good personal hygiene can effectively reduce the risk of infection. Avoid touching the mouth, eyes, nose, and the inside of the mask with dirty hands. When coughing or sneezing, cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or elbow and consciously turn your head to avoid people around you. Resolutely stop spitting and blowing your nose.

Three, often ventilate. Families should always open windows and ventilate their homes, which can be done daily to ensure a comfortable indoor temperature. When there are isolated people at home, the room where they are located should be closed and the windows should be opened separately for ventilation.

Fourth, less gathering. Try to have fewer visits, less pile-ups, less gatherings, and fewer family gatherings. When going to rural fairs, temple fairs, red and white ceremonies and other gatherings, be sure to wear a mask and stay away from people with fever or cough symptoms. Returning home to strengthen personal protection during the journey, strengthen self-health monitoring after arriving home, wear masks and wash hands regularly when visiting friends and relatives, and treat illnesses promptly when they appear.

V. Allopathic treatment. You can always keep some allopathic medicines at home, but you don’t need to stock up on a large number of medicines to avoid failure or waste, while asymptomatic preventive medicine and overdose may cause liver and kidney function damage. During the recovery period at home, use scientific medication and treat the symptoms, and protect yourself and your family members, and seek medical attention if symptoms continue to worsen.

Vaccination is effective in reducing the risk of serious illness and death after infection with the new coronavirus. Elderly people who have no contraindications to vaccination should complete the full immunization with the new crown vaccine as soon as possible, and those who are eligible should also receive a booster immunization.

Seven, positive energy. Correctly understand the disease, treat the epidemic rationally, pay attention to the official authoritative release of information, disbelieve rumors, do not spread rumors, and promote positive energy. Exercise moderately, get enough sleep, keep a good attitude, eat healthily, stop smoking and limit alcohol. Neighbors should help each other and exchange epidemic prevention materials and treatment drugs during the infection to tide over the difficulties together.
