To help prevent and control epidemics in rural areas, People’s Daily Online recently launched the “Rural Epidemic Prevention and Public Welfare Action”, calling on all walks of life to join hands to provide public welfare support for key people in rural areas and county communities.

According to the report, the population of Wafang Village is 1,783, and the per capita net income of the population out of poverty in 2022 is 15,202.73 yuan. Due to its mountainous location, the farthest village group in Wafang Village is up to 30 kilometers from the county capital.

In township stores, Yixintang pharmacies distributed free antipyretic and pain-relieving medicines for the people, totaling 180 million tablets.”
