Shenyang City, in response to the actual situation that the current demand for medical supplies of the masses has increased, combined with the active implementation of the activity of “solving people’s worries, relieving people’s difficulties and warming people’s hearts”, decided to distribute free of charge to key groups of people, including antipyretics, antiviral drugs, cough medicine, vitamin C tablets, masks, etc. “Health prevention package The “Health Pack” includes antipyretics, antivirals, cough medicine, vitamin C tablets and masks. The key groups include elderly people over 60 years old, as well as people from urban and rural low income families, people from marginal low income families, special hardship supporters, orphans and disabled people.

It is understood that the first batch of more than 250,000 copies of “health prevention kits” were distributed free of charge to senior citizens over 80 years old, urban and rural low-income families, low-income marginal families and special hardship dependents, and then to special groups such as senior citizens aged 60-80, orphans and disabled persons one after another. A total of more than 2 million copies of the “health prevention kits” are expected to be distributed in mid-January.

In order to raise drugs and other materials, the Shenyang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government have held special coordination meetings, set up special work teams with special responsibilities, and made all-out efforts to arrange for the production and procurement of drugs urgently needed by the public.

Shenyang Development and Reform Commission actively coordinated with large enterprises such as East Drug and China Resources Pharmaceutical to produce and procure relevant drugs, and urged local enterprises such as Shengjingtang, Hao Ning and Zhuo Mei to work overtime to step up the production of various epidemic prevention materials. Shenyang Health Care Commission quickly organized relevant experts to determine the list of materials and drugs to ensure the needs of various key populations with targeted medicine. The Shenyang Bureau of Industry and Information Technology sent personnel to station at various manufacturers and distribution enterprises to coordinate the production and supply work at any time. Shenyang also set up a hotline to supervise the distribution of “health prevention kits”.
