More than 3,000 volunteers in Helan County participate in epidemic prevention and control
Since the “9-20” epidemic outbreak in Ningxia, more than 3,000 volunteers in Helan County came forward and bravely “went against the grain”.
Heilan County Civilization Office and Heilan County New Era Civilization Practice Guidance Center issued the “Recruitment Order of Epidemic Prevention and Control Volunteers” at the first time, calling on the county’s voluntary service organizations, volunteers and caring people from all walks of life to take positive actions and participate in an orderly manner. From the county to the countryside, from the streets to the alleys, in all aspects of epidemic prevention and control, the “red vests” can be seen everywhere, through different forms of volunteer services to join the epidemic prevention and control work. This smear of “volunteer red” for the fight against the epidemic injected a warmth of power.
“Please keep a distance of two meters and open the health code …… in advance” is what the volunteers at the nucleic acid testing site said the most throughout the day. We always help them solve their problems patiently. It is with their full support of the medical staff that the nucleic acid work is made more efficient and orderly. According to the requirements of control measures, a large number of people need to sink to the front line of communities and villages, so the volunteers wearing red vests took up the task of promoting the knowledge of epidemic prevention and control to residents in the district, community duty, temperature measurement and code checking. “During the epidemic, try not to go out and wear a mask when you go out ……” Propaganda with loud speakers, registration of incoming vehicles and personnel, disinfection of incoming vehicles and personnel, popularization of epidemic prevention knowledge and reassurance of the people.
Zhang Hu, a volunteer from Desheng Village, Xi Gang Town, has actively applied to participate in the epidemic prevention work since it started. When he was notified of the nucleic acid testing work, he was always the first to arrive at the village hall, moving tables and chairs, carrying and placing materials, and setting up the nucleic acid testing site. After the sampling work started, he carefully maintained the order of the site to ensure that the nucleic acid testing was carried out in an orderly manner, while actively posting propaganda banners and distributing epidemic prevention cards to the villagers, guarding the safety of the villagers with practical actions.
