National Health Commission: 76 new local confirmed cases yesterday

On September 16, 0-24 hours, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 140 new confirmed cases. Among them, 64 cases were imported from abroad (15 cases from Guangdong, 12 cases from Fujian, 9 cases from Shanghai, 7 cases from Beijing, 5 cases from Yunnan, 3 cases from Heilongjiang, 3 cases from Jiangsu, 2 cases from Tianjin, 2 cases from Inner Mongolia, 2 cases from Liaoning, 2 cases from Sichuan, 1 case from Hunan, 1 case from Chongqing), including 8 cases from asymptomatic infected people to confirmed cases (4 cases from Guangdong, 1 case from Beijing, 1 case from Liaoning, 1 case from Hunan, 1 case from Sichuan); local cases 76 cases (34 cases in Sichuan, 10 cases in Tibet, 8 cases in Guizhou, 5 cases in Tianjin, 4 cases in Guangxi, 3 cases in Inner Mongolia, 3 cases in Guangdong, 2 cases in Shandong, 2 cases in Hainan, 2 cases in Chongqing, 1 case in Yunnan, 1 case in Shaanxi, 1 case in Xinjiang), including 17 cases from asymptomatic infected persons to confirmed cases (15 cases in Sichuan, 1 case in Tibet, 1 case in Xinjiang). No new fatal cases. No new suspected cases.

298 new cases were cured and discharged on the same day, including 43 cases imported from abroad and 255 local cases (74 cases in Sichuan, 52 cases in Hainan, 39 cases in Guangdong, 25 cases in Tibet, 18 cases in Inner Mongolia, 13 cases in Heilongjiang, 6 cases in Tianjin, 5 cases in Shandong, 3 cases in Guizhou, 3 cases in Xinjiang, 2 cases in Beijing, 2 cases in Shanxi, 2 cases in Shanghai, 2 cases in Zhejiang, 2 cases in Fujian, 1 case in Hebei, 1 case in Liaoning, 1 case in (1 case in Henan, 1 case in Hunan, 1 case in Guangxi, 1 case in Shaanxi, 1 case in Qinghai), 32242 close contacts released from medical observation, and 3 more serious cases than the previous day.

There are 586 confirmed cases (no serious cases) and no existing suspected cases imported from abroad. The total number of confirmed cases is 23,333, the total number of cured and discharged cases is 22,747, and there are no fatal cases.

As of 24:00 on September 16, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 4088 confirmed cases (including 38 severe cases), 238,711 cumulative cured and discharged cases, 5,226 cumulative fatal cases, 248,025 cumulative reported confirmed cases, and no existing suspected cases. A total of 5803176 close contacts have been traced, and 202221 close contacts are still under medical observation.

31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 578 new cases of asymptomatic infection, of which 73 cases were imported from abroad and 505 cases were local (146 cases in Guizhou, 87 cases in Sichuan, 56 cases in Tibet, 45 cases in Guangxi, 40 cases in Tianjin, 30 cases in Shandong, 25 cases in Hubei, 23 cases in Xinjiang, 14 cases in Gansu, 9 cases in Inner Mongolia, 9 cases in Jiangxi, 7 cases in Shaanxi, 3 cases in Heilongjiang (3 cases in Yunnan, 2 cases in Hebei, 2 cases in Chongqing, 1 case in Shanghai, 1 case in Zhejiang, 1 case in Guangdong, and 1 case in Qinghai).

On the same day, 1137 cases of asymptomatic infected persons were released from medical observation, of which 68 cases were imported from abroad and 1069 cases were local (379 cases in Tibet, 135 cases in Heilongjiang, 64 cases in Liaoning, 56 cases in Xinjiang, 53 cases in Shandong, 53 cases in Qinghai, 51 cases in Hainan, 47 cases in Sichuan, 31 cases in Henan, 29 cases in Inner Mongolia, 29 cases in Hubei, 28 cases in Guangxi, 25 cases in Guangdong, 19 cases in Gansu, 17 cases in Hebei (17 cases, Guizhou 16 cases, Tianjin 11 cases, Jilin 10 cases, Jiangxi 9 cases, Zhejiang 4 cases, Beijing 1 case, Fujian 1 case, Yunnan 1 case); 25 cases turned into confirmed cases on the same day (8 cases imported from abroad); 18,865 cases of asymptomatic infected persons still under medical observation (717 cases imported from abroad).

Cumulatively, 6297209 cases of confirmed cases were received from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Among them, 405,061 cases in Hong Kong SAR (80219 discharges, 9852 deaths), 793 cases in Macao SAR (787 discharges, 6 deaths), and 5891355 cases in Taiwan (13742 discharges, 10469 deaths).
