The latest situation of the province’s new crown pneumonia epidemic from 0-24 September 16 is as follows.
34 new local confirmed cases: 3 cases of closed-loop transporters returning to Sichuan from other provinces, 1 case in Chengdu, 8 cases in Neijiang, 4 cases in Yibin, 2 cases in Aba, 1 case in Luzhou, and 15 cases from previously asymptomatic infected persons to confirmed cases (1 case of closed-loop transporters returning to Sichuan from other provinces, 8 cases in Yibin, 4 cases in Neijiang, 1 case in Mianyang, 1 case in Aba).
There were 87 new cases of local asymptomatic infections: 4 cases of foreigners returning to Sichuan in closed-loop transit, 70 cases in Neijiang, 8 cases in Yibin, 3 cases in Dazhou, and 2 cases in Luzhou.
There were 2 new confirmed cases imported from abroad (in Chengdu, one of which was a confirmed case from a previous asymptomatic infected person).
Five new cases of asymptomatic infections imported from abroad (in Chengdu).
75 new cases were cured and discharged from hospital, no new suspected cases and no new deaths.
