National Health Commission and European Commission Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety hold technical exchange meeting on new crown outbreak

On January 10, 2023, the National Health Commission (NHC) and the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety held a technical exchange meeting by video on the new crown epidemic, attended by NHC Deputy Director General Cao Xuetao and NCDC Deputy Director General and CDC Director Shen Hongbing, according to the NHC website.
The two sides exchanged views on the current medical treatment, epidemic situation, strain surveillance, vaccination and other technical topics of the new crown epidemic and agreed to continue to deepen cooperation in the fight against the epidemic and jointly promote the health and well-being of both sides and the people of the world.
