December 9, 0-24 hours, the province’s new local confirmed cases of 993 cases (484 cases in Guangzhou, 62 cases in Shenzhen, 34 cases in Zhuhai, 10 cases in Shantou, 18 cases in Foshan, 13 cases in Shaoguan, 8 cases in Heyuan, 1 case in Meizhou, 47 cases in Huizhou, 40 cases in Zhongshan, 39 cases in Jiangmen, 44 cases in Yangjiang, 73 cases in Zhanjiang, 11 cases in Maoming, 4 cases in Zhaoqing, 7 cases in Qingyuan, 43 cases in Chaozhou, 55 cases in Yunfu (Guangzhou 804 cases, Shenzhen 68 cases, Zhuhai 62 cases, Shantou 14 cases, Foshan 73 cases, Shaoguan 69 cases, Heyuan 36 cases, Meizhou 136 cases, Huizhou 26 cases, Shanwei 43 cases, Dongguan 90 cases, Zhongshan 6 cases, Jiangmen 50 cases, Yangjiang 14 cases, Zhanjiang 20 cases, Maoming 57 cases, Zhaoqing 54 cases, Qingyuan 72 cases, Chaozhou 5 cases There are 122 confirmed cases of local asymptomatic infected persons (107 cases in Guangzhou, 1 case in Zhuhai, 13 cases in Dongguan and 1 case in Zhanjiang). There were 9 new confirmed cases of overseas importation in the province (7 cases in Guangzhou, 1 case in Shenzhen, 1 case in Foshan); 26 new cases of overseas importation of asymptomatic infections (12 cases in Guangzhou, 6 cases in Shenzhen, 8 cases in Foshan); and 1 case of overseas importation of asymptomatic infections to confirmed cases (in Dongguan).

The province has discharged 2034 new cases (21 cases imported from abroad), and currently 13427 cases are in hospital (125 cases imported from abroad); 6736 new cases of asymptomatic infections have been released from medical observation (32 cases imported from abroad), and 52165 cases of asymptomatic infections are still under medical observation (162 cases imported from abroad).

As of 24:00 on December 9, the province has reported 236,495 positive cases of new coronary pneumonia (15,520 imported from abroad), including 52,166 confirmed cases (6,506 imported from abroad) and 184,329 asymptomatic cases (9,014 imported from abroad).
