Information on the new crown pneumonia epidemic in Gansu Province on December 5 from 0-24 is now published as follows.

Local epidemic.

December 5, 0-24 hours, no new confirmed cases in Gansu Province; 193 new asymptomatic infections, including 186 cases in Lanzhou City (98 cases in Chengguan District, 29 cases in Anning District, 24 cases in Qilihe District, 17 cases in Xigu District, 12 cases in Yuzhong County, 3 cases in Honggu District, 2 cases in Yongdeng County, 1 case in Gaolan County), and 7 cases in Linxia City, Linxia Prefecture. The above new infections were found in the close contacts screening, high-risk area testing, centralized isolation point testing and regular testing. Track information is released by the relevant city (state) or county (city, district). 773 new cases of asymptomatic infected persons were released from isolation.

As of 24:00 on December 5, a total of 204 confirmed cases and 21,649 asymptomatic cases were reported in the “0909” epidemic. A total of 145 confirmed cases have been cured and discharged, and 4558 asymptomatic cases have been released from isolation. There are 59 confirmed cases and 17,091 asymptomatic cases, all of which are under isolation or medical observation in designated medical institutions.

Imported outbreaks from abroad.

On December 5, 0-24 hours, there were no new imported confirmed cases, and 2 new cases of asymptomatic infections were imported. 2 of the inbound passengers of Belarus-Lanzhou CA722 flight on December 3 tested positive for nucleic acid and were immediately transferred to the designated hospital. At present, there are 8 confirmed cases and 2 asymptomatic infected persons on the flight, all of whom are under isolation treatment or medical observation in designated medical institutions, while the remaining 57 are under centralized medical observation in isolation sites. All the above-mentioned inbound personnel are under closed-loop management.
