On November 8, Shantou added 41 new confirmed cases of New Coronary Pneumonia (mild) and 12 asymptomatic cases of infection

According to information from the Shantou Health and Wellness Bureau, 41 new confirmed cases of Neoconiosis (mild) and 12 asymptomatic cases of Neoconiosis were reported in Shantou from 0-24 hours on November 8. There were also 3 previously announced cases of asymptomatic infections to confirmed cases (light).

Of these, 47 cases were identified in the screening of persons under isolation and observation in centralized isolation sites, and 6 cases were identified in the screening of persons under control in high-risk areas. No cases found in community screening were reported.
