Shandong Health Commission informed that from 0:00 to 24:00 on November 22, 2022, the province reported 12 new local confirmed cases (including 2 cases of people returning to Lu from outside the province), including 3 cases in Qingdao (including 1 case of people returning to Lu from outside the province), which were detected at the centralized isolation site and 1 case detected by cross-regional coordination; 3 cases in Tai’an, which were detected at the centralized isolation site, 1 case detected by community screening and 1 case detected by active consultation; 2 cases in Jinan 2 cases were detected by active consultation; 2 cases were detected by home isolation under medical observation in Linyi; 1 case was detected by active consultation in Zibo; 1 case was detected by screening of key personnel in Heze (for people returning to Lu from outside the province). There were 2 new confirmed cases imported from abroad, both in Qingdao, which were imported from Japan. There were 7 new cases of asymptomatic infections imported from abroad, including 6 cases in Qingdao, 3 cases from Korea and 3 cases from Japan, and 1 case in Linyi, which was imported from Iraq.

From 0:00 to 24:00 on November 22, 2022, the province reported 18 cases of native asymptomatic infections turning into confirmed cases, all in Jinan.

From 0:00 to 24:00 on November 22, 2022, 11 local confirmed cases were discharged from the province, including 6 cases in Qingdao, 3 cases in Jining and 2 cases in Heze. Local asymptomatic infected persons were discharged from medical observation in 131 cases, including 50 cases in Heze, 17 cases in Linyi, 13 cases in Qingdao, 12 cases in Jining, 9 cases in Zibo, 8 cases in Binzhou, 7 cases in Dezhou, 4 cases in Weifang, 4 cases in Liaocheng, 3 cases in Jinan, 3 cases in Zaozhuang, and 1 case in Yantai. One case of confirmed cases imported from outside the province was discharged from hospital in Jinan. 2 cases of asymptomatic infected persons imported from abroad were released from medical observation, including 1 case in Qingdao and 1 case in Yantai.

As of 24:00 on December 22, 2022, there were 174 confirmed local cases and 4,194 local asymptomatic infections in the province. The province has 6 confirmed cases of overseas importation and 51 cases of overseas importation of asymptomatic infections.
