On December 20, “Shanghai Yangpu” WeChat public number released a “Letter to Yangpu Citizens”. This letter looks back on the three years of fighting the epidemic and expresses deep gratitude to all the citizens who fought against the epidemic with one heart and looked out for each other.

At present, the epidemic prevention and control has entered a new stage, and the prevention and control policy has been optimized. In order to pass the special period smoothly and orderly, and to better protect the life safety and health of the people in the region, Yangpu District, Shanghai, calls on all citizens to strengthen their personal health management, strengthen their own protection awareness, pay attention to a balanced diet, moderate exercise, maintain regular work and rest, and avoid excessive fatigue. Do scientific protection, improve “mask awareness”, and take the initiative to be the first person responsible for their own health.

Yangpu District in Shanghai recommends that people take the initiative to receive the new crown vaccine. This letter also advises the public to rationalize nucleic acid testing. If they do not need to go to specific places such as nursing homes and orphanages, and do not show any suspected symptoms of infection, or do not need negative nucleic acid proof for work or travel, they can avoid joining the nucleic acid testing team to avoid increasing the risk of cross-infection.

If you do need to be tested, please make sure to do your personal protection and stagger your testing. During nucleic acid sampling, you must wear a mask throughout the process, keep a safe distance from others, do not talk, do not gather, and prevent the risk of infection. Yangpu District will keep the existing regular nucleic acid sampling stable, so that people can be tested as much as they want.
