According to the website of Xinjiang Health Commission, from 0 to 24 hours on October 18, there were 6 new local confirmed cases in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, including 2 cases in Tianshan District, 1 case in Shaibak District, 1 case in Shuimangu District, Urumqi City, and 2 cases in Yining City, Ili Prefecture.
There were 116 new local asymptomatic infections, including 15 cases in Tianshan District, 13 cases in Shaibak District, 10 cases in Gaoxin District, 10 cases in Shuimangu District, 5 cases in Jingkai District and 8 cases in Middong District of Urumqi, 20 cases in Yining City and 3 cases in Yining County of Ili Prefecture, 6 cases in Usu City of Tacheng Region, 10 cases in Izhou District of Hami City (imported from outside the province), 7 cases in Gaochang District of Turpan City and 9 cases in Korla City of Bazhou.
From 0 to 24:00 on October 18, 24 new local confirmed cases were cured and discharged from the hospital in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region; 118 new local asymptomatic infected persons were released from isolation for medical observation; 1 new overseas imported asymptomatic infected person was released from isolation for medical observation.
As of 24:00 on October 18, there were 338 confirmed local cases and 3,426 asymptomatic local infections in the XUAR.
