At present, it is the spring back to school time, in order to scientific and accurate prevention and control of the epidemic, to prevent the risk of transmission of the epidemic input, to maximize the protection of teachers and students health and safety, Hunan Provincial Health and Health Commission Health Education and Publicity Center today issued tips: educational institutions should perform their duties to do a good job of prevention and control of the epidemic related to teachers and students back to school, all-round guarding the health and safety of teachers and students, so that teachers and students safely back to school, work and study at ease.
Strengthen the health monitoring of teachers and students before and after they return to school. Schools should organize efforts to strengthen the health monitoring of teachers and students before they return to school, and remind and urge teachers and students not to work or study with illness when they have symptoms such as fever, dry cough, weakness and sore throat, to ensure a safe, stable and orderly start of school. One week before the start of the school year, students should conduct daily health self-tests at home to measure body temperature and observe clinical symptoms related to novel coronavirus infection, and test for antigens or nucleic acids when symptoms such as fever, dry cough, weakness and sore throat occur. Students and teachers should conduct health surveillance for 7 consecutive days after returning to school to minimize congregate activities. Schools should develop a system for reporting infectious disease outbreaks, a tracking and registration system for absences due to illness, etc., establish electronic student health information ledgers, and improve disease monitoring and early warning information.
Strengthen strict control of school gates. Schools should continue to strictly guard the school gates, and extraneous personnel non-must not enter the campus. Teachers and students will no longer be provided with nucleic acid certificates for entering and leaving the school gates, and other outsiders will be required to provide 48-hour nucleic acid or antigen-negative certificates for entering the campus.
Strengthen the stockpile of epidemic prevention drugs and supplies. Schools are dynamically stockpiling drugs for symptomatic treatment of novel coronavirus infections, including antipyretic, antitussive and antidiarrheal drugs, according to 15% to 20% of the total population. According to the needs of teachers and students to strengthen the monitoring of their own health status during school, stockpile sufficient antigen detection reagents. According to the daily protection needs of teachers and students, we will stock enough masks, disinfection supplies, safety temperature measuring equipment and other common epidemic prevention materials. Establish stable supply channels for new coronavirus infection treatment drugs and common epidemic prevention materials to ensure adequate supply during the peak of epidemic and in emergency situations. Stockpile an adequate amount of essential supplies according to the epidemic prevention requirements and the actual situation in schools.
Strengthen capacity building for epidemic prevention and control. Primary and secondary schools and kindergartens set up health observation rooms for teachers and students, provide temporary detention for teachers and students with fever and other symptoms, and instruct parents to safely pick up students and young children and take them home. Schools strengthen the construction of health rooms and health care offices, equip them with professional staff, strengthen the professional training of practitioners, and assume the responsibilities of epidemic prevention knowledge dissemination and emergency response to student illnesses. Play the role of school health management center of the school hospital (health office and health care room). The school cooperates with its counterpart hospitals to carry out multi-scene, hands-on emergency transfer drills for referral and treatment, to promptly find solutions to blockages and loopholes, improve transfer efficiency, and ensure that once heavy and critical cases occur, the green channel emergency relief system is quickly activated, with rapid and precise response, to achieve “point-to-point” and “person-to-person” smooth docking. People to people” smooth docking.
Strengthen daily health education and health management. Through online resources such as campus website, WeChat public number and school APP, as well as offline resources such as bulletin boards and campus radio, we carry out health education and training on infectious disease prevention and control in various forms to guide teachers and students to firmly establish and consciously practice the concept of “health first” and be the first person responsible for their own health. In daily life, adhere to good hygiene habits such as wearing masks, washing hands regularly, not spitting, strengthening physical exercise, maintaining a civilized, healthy and green lifestyle, and improving awareness of disease prevention, self-protection and health literacy among teachers and students. The school has mapped out the number of teachers and students who are vaccinated, infected with viruses, suffering from basic diseases and have special health conditions under the premise of protecting their privacy, and established a file and follow-up services. Continue to promote vaccination of teachers and students, focusing on the prompt completion of the first and second doses of vaccination for students over 3 years of age who have no contraindications to vaccination and are eligible for vaccination; promote active vaccination of faculty and staff who are eligible for the second booster dose.
Strengthen public health management on campus. Maintain daily ventilation and disinfection of teaching areas, public living areas, and other places. The school places shared disinfection supplies at entrances to school buildings, stairway entrances, and elevator entrances, so that teachers, students, and staff can sanitize themselves when they enter and exit. Improve ventilation in public places such as school cafeterias, libraries, gymnasiums, public bathrooms and restrooms, and expand the spacing between items. Strengthen food and drinking water safety management, stagger meals for students as much as possible, and set up one-way flow channels where possible. Increase the spacing of library tables and chairs, reasonably allocate space and maintain a safe distance.
Strengthen teacher and student guidance and psychological guidance. Schools should pay close attention to the thought dynamics of teachers and students, strengthen value guidance, and stimulate students’ youthful responsibility and commitment. Explain in depth the anti-epidemic policy and the significant achievements made in the past three years, vigorously promote the great anti-epidemic spirit, sing the main theme, establish positive energy, and enhance students’ confidence and courage to overcome the epidemic. In response to the outstanding psychological problems in different manifestations, provide students with highly targeted, regular and multiform mental health guidance and assistance, do a good job in mental health education and psychological guidance, and promptly resolve students’ negative emotions such as panic and anxiety. Strengthen psychological serious illness and crisis identification and intervention, timely prevention and resolution of major risks.
Strengthen health guidance during the recovery period. The school organizes and instructs the school health office (health care office), health education teachers, psychological teachers, counselors, classroom teachers, student cadres and other key groups to strengthen health guidance for infected teachers and students during the recovery period through different forms such as themed class meetings, bulletin boards and public numbers, from nutrition and diet, normal and regular work and rest, moderate exercise, daily personal protection, etc., to guide teachers and students to do a good job of health management during the recovery period.
