Media: Beijing epidemic release no longer publishes data for each district

According to the Beijing Health Commission, between 0000 and 2400 hours on December 9, there were 924 new confirmed local cases and 1308 asymptomatic infections (including 9 cases of asymptomatic infections to confirmed cases), and no new suspected cases.
From 00:00 to 24:00 on December 9, there were 4 new confirmed cases and 9 asymptomatic cases imported from abroad, and no new suspected cases. Among the confirmed cases imported from abroad, there were one case each in Hong Kong, South Korea, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom.
From 00:00 to 24:00 on December 9, 503 cases were cured and discharged, and 2,291 cases of asymptomatic infected persons were released from medical observation.
Beijing News Radio found that the previous day’s data released on December 10 no longer published data by district, but only the total number of infected people in the city, another change in the recent release of Beijing’s epidemic data.
Since Nov. 12, the past day’s infections released by Beijing have no longer been published for those infected in isolation and observation, but only for the district to which they belong. Infected persons found in social screening still have their addresses in their neighborhoods or communities.
Since November 21, Beijing has announced that the social screeners will no longer release detailed residential addresses, and will only release information about their districts, as with those under isolation and observation.
In the past month, Beijing’s epidemic data release information has been adjusted several times, constantly adjusting and simplifying.
