The tenth edition of the prevention and control program continues to emphasize good personal protection, good hygiene habits, strengthening vaccination, and strengthening the prevention and control of the epidemic in key places, key populations, key institutions and rural areas. First, the name of the disease was updated. The “new coronavirus pneumonia” renamed “new coronavirus infection”.

Second, strengthen the monitoring and early warning. Under normal circumstances, the main activities are virus variation surveillance, case reporting, sentinel hospital surveillance, unexplained pneumonia surveillance, and urban sewage surveillance. In emergency situations, increase nucleic acid and antigen detection surveillance, fever outpatient surveillance, and surveillance of key institutions.

Third, adjust the testing strategy. No longer carry out full nucleic acid screening, community residents according to the need to “test as much as possible”. The staff and caregivers of key institutions, such as elderly institutions and social welfare institutions, should be regularly tested for antigens or nucleic acid during epidemics. The community is at high risk of serious illnesses, after the onset of symptoms to carry out antigen or nucleic acid testing.

Fourth, adjust the management of the source of infection. Novel coronavirus infected persons no longer implement isolation measures and implement graded classification and treatment; no longer determine close contacts and no longer delineate high- and low-risk areas.

Fifth, emergency prevention and control measures can be taken during an epidemic. That is to say, under normal circumstances, there is generally no need to take emergency preventive and control measures; during an epidemic outbreak epidemic, combined with the situation of virus mutation, the intensity of the epidemic, the load on medical resources and social operation and other comprehensive assessment, can be based on the rate of infection in the population and the degree of tension of medical resources, etc., in due course, according to the law to take temporary preventive and control measures, the purpose is to reduce the gathering of people, reduce the movement of people, the The purpose is to reduce the incidence of the disease, mitigate the impact of a short-term surge in infected persons on social operations and medical resources, and effectively coordinate epidemic prevention and control with economic and social development.
